MTV UK Placements – “Plain Jane”

Vortex Music is proud to announce two song placements on the MTV UK reality show Plain Jane. “Big Red Neon Love”, was a Hugh Colocott/Janice Fitzgerald co-write, and the second song, “A Thing Like Me”, was co-written by Hugh Colocott, Susan Wybiral, Shawn Lopes and Roderick Smith.

Plain Jane is a CW show in its third season here in the U.S., whose rights were picked up by MTV International for release in the UK, Europe and Asia and Sony has just acquired the rights for distribution in Latin America.

Single Goes Top 20 in U.K. and Australia

Vortex Music‘s single, “So Long Goodbye”, has quickly climbed to #20 on the Hot Disc Charts in the U.K. and Australia for recording artist Anna Marie Dobbins.

Anna Marie starred in the feature film, FOOTLOOSE, and is currently preparing a U.S. CD release with “So Long Goodbye” as the lead off single.You can hear the song and see the video at:
