Vortex Music’s First Release For Universal Music Group
Vortex Music is proud to announce their song “Bad Habit” was just released by the band Superhero on their debut album “Irany Tu’z” for Universal Music Group in Hungary.
The Hungarian translation titled, “Hus Es Ver”, is a favorite of the bands who have literally become local superheros as they continue to receive rave reviews from their concert tour with solid support from radio airplay.
The song was pitched to the band by Sir Harry Cowell of Mission Publishing in the U.K. in tandem with Supehero‘s music publisher Schubert Music in Hungary. Sir Harry‘s chart success includes Celine Dion, Ricky Martin, Asia and Cher.
“Bad Habit” was written by Vortex Music members Hugh Colocott and Jimmy Santis along with Dani Tersini.

Vortex Music’s First Production Release on New Atlantic Records in the UK
Vortex Music is proud to announce their first co-production and co-write, “Brand New Eyes”, was just released on New Atlantic Records in the UK by Ellie Jacobs on her new album INTO THE LIGHT. The song has been getting great listener response and it enjoys regular rotation on several stations of the BBC.
The song was co-produced and co-written with Gail Vareilles of Sandshifter Music also based here in NYC. They are in good company on the album sharing production credits with the legendary rocker Randy Bachman of Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

Vortex Music Shares The Limelight With Pop Superstars!
Vortex Music is proud to announce yet another release of their song titled, “A Girl Can Dream”. co-written by Jimmy Santis, Nina Ossoff and Steve Skinner.
This is the 5th tme the song has been released and is now part of a Greatest Hits collection titled, DIAMOND: GREATEST HITS 2002-2010, by Warner Music Philippines’ recording artist Nina.
“A Girl Can Dream” was released as a single from Nina’s second album, SMILE, and went to # 9 on the Philippine’s pop charts. The album was certified Platinum within one year of its release.
Vortex Music is in very eclectic company on this Greatest Hits package sharing the limelight with pop superstars, Madonna, David Foster, Diane Warren, Roberta Flack, Barry Manilow and Jason Mraz, whose hit songs are also featured on the album.

Vortex Announces New Recording
Vortex Music is very happy to announce that their song None Of The Above has been recorded by Nashville artist Shelby Horner (Reptile Records/TBG Entertainment) (www.shelbyhornermusic.com) and will be released on his upcoming record Keep Me Off The Street. “None Of The Above” was written by Hugh Colocott and New York based songwriter, and regular Vortex Music collaborator, David Kraut.
